About the Role
Meridian Capital is seeking a Financial Analyst to join our equity research team. You will be responsible for building and maintaining financial models, conducting industry and company research, and producing investment memos and reports for our institutional client base.
The role involves deep-dive analysis of public companies across the technology and consumer sectors. You will attend earnings calls, track regulatory filings, interview industry experts, and synthesize findings into actionable investment theses.
We value intellectual curiosity and independent thinking. Our analysts are encouraged to develop their own coverage areas and to challenge consensus views when the data supports it. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to develop a career in buy-side research.
This is a fully remote position open to candidates in US time zones. We offer a competitive salary, performance-based bonuses, and support for CFA exam preparation and other professional certifications.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in equity research, investment banking, or asset management
- Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills (DCF, LBO, comparable company analysis)
- Progress toward or completion of CFA designation preferred
- Excellent written communication skills for producing investment memos
