Why do I get email notifications when someone is blocked from accessing my digital business card/profile?
You receive these email notifications because our privacy settings are designed to keep your information safe. You can control this feature by visiting Edit Profile > Privacy Settings > Block by Source/Referrer.
These settings let you block access from different sources and notify you when someone tries to view your profile in a way you've blocked. Here's a breakdown of the settings you can adjust:
Block by Search Engine (Default: Off): Stops people from finding your profile through search engines. If someone tries, they'll see a message saying the user doesn't exist.
Social Media: Blocks access from social media platforms. Anyone trying to reach your profile via social media will be told the user doesn't exist.
Social Messenger: Blocks access from messaging apps. Visitors using a messaging app to view your profile will see a message that the user doesn't exist.
Short Link: Prevents access through shortened URLs. If someone uses a short link, they'll get a message saying the user doesn't exist.
Directory, Portal & Forum: Blocks access from directories, portals, or forums. Visitors from these sites will see a message that the user doesn't exist.
These notifications help you stay informed about who is trying to access your profile and allow you to take action if needed. (Read More)
Disclaimer:
Our block access settings are based on popular usage patterns globally and are regularly updated to keep pace with changing technology. However, given the rapid expansion of digital platforms, we may only cover some possible access sources.
If you notice any platform or source that you think should be added to our block list, please let us know. We believe that by working together and listening to our users, we can enhance the experience for the entire s͛Card community.
